This beautiful vintage mirror, made using a long, old blondel picture frame, would be a real jewel in any home. During the remodeling process, I took great care to ensure that the mirror was not only unique and stylish, but also blended perfectly into today's interiors while retaining its antique charm.
The base of the frame is painted with HH Chalk Paint in a subtle and elegant shade of Tired Green, which is a great way to accentuate the details of the frame. The next coat was white paint, which I carefully wiped back. This allows the white colour to emerge beautifully from the recesses, while the Tired Green base preserves the basic character and harmony of the frame.
I highlighted the decorations with dark brown and gold paint, which complement each other perfectly and accentuate the rich pattern of the frame. The gold details give the frame a subtle shimmer, while the dark brown adds depth and elegance. This combination creates a unique vintage and antique effect that is guaranteed to be the focal point of any room.
As a finishing touch, I sealed the surface with water-based silk gloss parquet varnish. This layer not only protects the mirror frame from the passage of time and everyday use, but also gives it a subtle, elegant shine that further enhances the aesthetic value of the mirror.
This vintage mirror is perfect for a living room, bedroom or even an elegant hallway. Its timeless beauty and carefully crafted details are guaranteed to catch everyone's eye. Whether it's for a classic or modern interior, this mirror will fit in perfectly with any style, while becoming a truly unique decorative element in your home. Get it and enjoy as this beautiful piece brings new life and elegance to your space!
