Unique, stylish and timeless, these retro small cabinets have been reborn to become more modern vintage-style home furnishings. Each piece tells a story, brought back to life from the past to breathe new life into today's homes.
I transformed these little miracles with lots of careful work and loving care. The first step was to thoroughly sand and repair the cabinets to create a foundation for creativity.
I decorated the doors with the image transfer technique, on which beautiful images of hummingbirds were placed. These birds not only function as decoration, but also remind us of the beauty and fragility of nature. Using the pittorico technique, I surrounded the images with the softness and harmony of the background, so that they stand out even more and come to life.
I painted the rest of the cabinet with the tired green color of HH chalk paint, which also gives the furniture a warm atmosphere and character. This color choice evokes the beauties of the past while also offering a fresh and modern approach. I covered the interior parts with a neutral, light gray shade to create a calm, harmonious home for the stored things.
Finally, in order to preserve the beauty and durability of the painted surfaces, I finished it with a silk-gloss parquet floor. This final finishing makes the cabinets perfect and timeless, so that they can serve for many years and preserve their beauty.
Each piece is unique and unrepeatable, a little slice of the past that lives again in the present to bring coziness and style to our home. This collection offers more than just furniture, but a complete sense of life that inspires and reminds us of the values of the past and the beauties of the present.
