This small mirror made from an old Blondel picture frame is the perfect choice if you're looking for a unique decorative element for your home. The frame is painted with HH chalk paint in a moss colour that gives the mirror a natural, fresh look. The moss green base colour was given a special touch with a tired shade of green, which I wiped back to retain this subtle tone in the recesses of the frame. This technique not only adds texture and depth to the frame, but also gives it a unique, patina-like look.
The decorations are accented with gold and white, which adds a touch of glamour and elegance to the mirror's appearance. The combination of gold and white gently shimmers in the light, creating a special contrast against the green tones, giving the mirror a really sophisticated, vintage feel.
As a final finishing touch, I covered the frame with a silk gloss parquet flooring, which not only provides protection, but also preserves the natural beauty of the frame's colours and gives it a subtle sheen. This mirror can be the perfect addition to a small hallway, bedroom or even a romantic corner in the living room.
