I painted the base of the frame with a shade of HH Chalk Paint Cactus Green, which gives the piece a unique and fresh look. This natural green shade creates harmony and provides a subtle contrast to the other colours.
I applied a layer of white paint to the green base, which I carefully wiped off, so that the white colour only emerges from the recesses of the frame. This technique gives the frame a special texture and antiqued effect, highlighting its detailed patterns. The shades of white and green complement each other perfectly, exuding a timeless elegance.
I have accentuated the frame's decorations and edges with gold to give the piece an extra touch of sophistication and luxury. The gold highlights gently reflect the light, further enhancing the decorative effect of the mirror. The gold finish is discreet yet eye-catching, perfectly harmonising with the white and green colours.
As a finishing touch, I sealed the surface with water-based silk gloss parquet varnish.
