This imposing, elongated mirror has been created using an old Blondel picture frame, giving it a new lease of life while retaining its classic and elegant style. The frame is based on the Bodza White shade of HH chalk paint, which gives the mirror a refined look with its clean, bright colour. This subtle shade provides the perfect backdrop for the frame's richly detailed embellishments, which are given a special accent with dark brown and gold tones.
The dark brown tone adds depth to the edges and trims, reinforcing the classic lines and texture of the Blondel-style frame. The dark colour provides an elegant contrast to the Bodza white base, while the gold highlights add a touch of luxury that gives the mirror a special elegance. Gold plating has been carefully applied only to key decorative elements to give an understated yet eye-catching look.
For the final finish of the frame, I used a silk gloss parquet varnish, which not only protects the painted surface, but also provides a subtle, soft shine that enhances the elegance of the mirror. This special matt gloss lacquer finish enhances the beauty of the painted detail and makes it timeless.
This mirror can be a special, unique decoration for any home.
